We dispatch 24 hours a day for operators, plants, and industrial facilities across the basin, so the hours are there for people who want them.
It starts with the gear. We provide top-tier safety equipment and we expect you to use it. That is a large part of why we have gone eight years in this basin with zero recordable incidents. A Gentex supervisor is on every location with you, the JSA is worked before the job and again when conditions change, and nobody is sent out with the wrong equipment to save money. We train and certify the people we hire at our expense, and several of the people running crews today started here as laborers. If you want to learn the work, there is a path in it.

Laborer / Roustabout
This is the field position most of our crew leads started in. You will run wash wands and hoses, rig equipment up and down, work containment and site cleanup, and keep the location and the equipment in order on jobs across the Permian Basin.
You do not need oilfield experience to start. A Gentex supervisor is on every job with you, you get issued the gear before you get sent to do anything with it, and the training that gets you certified is on us. We are hiring people who show up on time and work.
Requirements
- 18 or older, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation to the Midland yard
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Comfortable working outdoors in West Texas heat and cold and lifting 50 lbs repeatedly
- H2S, SafeLand, and confined space entry certification, current or obtained after hire
- No prior oilfield experience required; experience is a plus
$16 to $20 an hour, depending on experience. Overtime after 40 hours a week.
Pusher / Crew Lead
Runs a crew on location from rig-up to demobilization: the JSA before work starts and again when conditions change, the scope, the equipment, and the customer’s contact on site.
You are accountable for how the job goes and for the crew that goes home at the end of it. You get the equipment and the backing to run it right, and the office answers when conditions on a location change. This is a supervisory position and it is treated like one.
Requirements
- 3+ years oilfield service experience, including at least 1 year leading a crew
- Confined space entry certified, or able to certify; we run jobs with entry and without it, and you have to be able to lead either one
- H2S, SafeLand, and first aid / CPR current or obtainable
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; CDL a plus
- Able to complete JSAs, job tickets, and daily reporting accurately
$20 to $30 an hour, depending on experience. Overtime after 40 hours a week.
CDL Driver / Hydrovac Operator
Drives and operates our vacuum and hydro excavation units: line jetting, daylighting, potholing, pond, pit and cellar clean-outs, and vessel cleaning from the manway on lease sites and at industrial facilities.
You are responsible for both sides of the unit: the DOT side (pre- and post-trip inspections, logs, securement) and the operating side. Most days start and end at the Midland yard. Our own shop maintains the units, so a breakdown is not yours to fix on the roadside.
Requirements
- CDL Class A (Class B with tanker considered) and a current DOT medical card
- Tanker endorsement; hazmat a plus
- Clean MVR and able to meet DOT and customer driver requirements (ISNetworld®, Veriforce®)
- 1+ year running a vacuum truck, hydrovac, or combo unit preferred
- H2S and SafeLand current or obtainable
Drivers must be insurable under our fleet policy; we run driving records on driver hires.
$25 to $35 an hour, depending on experience. Overtime after 40 hours a week.
Service Tech
Keeps the fleet running. Preventive maintenance and repair on vacuum trucks, hydrovac units, pumps, blowers, high-pressure water equipment, and the wash equipment we build in-house.
The work splits between the Midland shop and field calls when a unit goes down on a location. There is more troubleshooting and fabrication in this job than in a typical shop tech position, and you are trusted to decide the fix rather than wait on someone else to.
Requirements
- 2+ years diesel, hydraulic, or heavy equipment maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, blowers, and high-pressure water equipment
- Own hand tools; welding and fabrication ability a plus
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus for road calls
- Willing to take occasional after-hours breakdown calls
$24 to $30 an hour, depending on experience. Overtime after 40 hours a week.
