Who we are
A Midland company built around a better method
Gentex Services LLC is a cleaning, excavation, and support company based at 6014 East CR 73 in Midland, TX 79705, working across the Permian Basin & Southeast New Mexico for oil and gas operators, sand plants, chemical plants, and industrial facilities.
We started because tank cleaning in this basin was still being done the way it was done thirty years ago: a hot, hazardous vessel nobody had done anything about, hand tools inside it, a line of vacuum trucks outside it, and an invoice nobody could explain. Every part of how Gentex operates is a response to one of those problems.
Today we clean confined spaces from either inside or out. Any H2S, LELs, or benzene in the space are treated with 509 first, then our certified crews work it from outside the vessel wherever the vessel allows it, or make the entry when the job calls for one. The same standard applies either way. We run hydro excavation and line jetting, clean frac ponds, pits, and containment, wash plants, facilities, and equipment, and supply the roustabout and equipment support that keeps a location moving. Eight years in, with zero recordable incidents, and with fewer units on location and fewer hours on the invoice than the method we replaced.

Our mission
Efficient and safe at the same time, not one at the expense of the other
Plenty of companies will tell you they are safe. Plenty more will tell you they are fast. The whole reason we build our own equipment is that we refuse to pick one. A vessel with the H2S, the LELs, and the benzene already broken down, cleaned in half the time whether or not a crew goes in, is not a compromise between the two. It is what happens when you stop accepting the old method. Doing it the safer way here does not cost you more; it is the reason the invoice is shorter.

Tallie Gentry
Founder & CEO / Sales Manager · 10 years in the industry
Gentex Services was founded to do cleaning work a different way: take the danger out of a confined space before anybody works it, send a crew in only when the job requires it, get the extra trucks off the location, and tell customers the truth about what a job costs before it starts. Tallie leads the company on that standard and is usually the first call a new customer makes.
When the equipment to do that did not exist, Gentex built its own rather than settle for the old method. Tallie’s side of the business is the customer’s: the scope, the number, and the standard a job is held to, all settled before the crew rolls. Ten years in the industry and eight years leading Gentex, and the company has grown across the Permian Basin and Southeast New Mexico without a single recordable incident.
Chon Buitron
Co-Owner & General Manager · 18 years in the industry
Chon is a co-owner of Gentex and he runs the field. Scheduling, crews, equipment, and the safety standard on every location come through him, and he is the person customers reach when a job needs to move, grow, or start tomorrow morning.
Having an owner over the field is why a Gentex supervisor is on every job rather than dispatched after something has already gone wrong. When Chon commits to a date or a scope, it is his own company on the line, not a manager passing the decision up. That is what keeps small problems from turning into standby hours on your invoice, and it is why the crew he has built shows up when it says it will and finishes what it quoted.
